As the Moon waxes full at 6:22 pm MDT in Libra tonight, April 12, 2025, may we breathe in and nourish ourselves with the energies of love, harmony, balance, and peace that its ruler Venus offers. The Sun’s light in Aries partners with Chiron, our wise healer within, and together, their light is reflected in Libra’s fullness.
Mars-ruled Aries brings our focus to survival and sparks our warrior nature in order to preserve our identity. In its highest expression, we become warriors of light creating new pathways forward. Chiron in Aries invites us to heal any wounds or remnants of pain founded in unacceptance and/or denial of our worthiness to exist, simply because we were born. Together, the energy of the Sun and Chiron in Aries ask us to examine our belief system around the key words: I AM. Who am I? Who do I desire to become?
In contrast to preserving and expressing the identity of self, Venus-ruled Libra invites us to explore our relationships with and toward others. To consider who WE ARE together. Libra’s highest expression allows room for us to exchange energies with others in order to enhance our mutual or collective experience. In this shared space where differences are honored and celebrated, we understand the value that everyone contributes to the whole. Libra asks us: Who are we together? What do we desire to become?
While the polarities – or tensions – of Mars-ruled Aries and Venus-ruled Libra in their natural state of opposition is palpable in our world, astrology shows us that growth comes from finding our center amidst opposing energies, thereby balancing them. By embodying and expressing the highest energies from both ends of the Aries/Libra axis, we not only find that we can exist in harmony with others, but also, that our lives are richer and stronger for it.
Full Moons are a perfect time to let go of what no longer serves our highest good. In the light of Libra, the emphasis on our is purposeful. Here’s to centering ourselves, breathing in grace and beauty, and letting something go that makes space for harmony and love ~ for the highest good of all relations.
